Richmond Business and Tourism Association (RBTA).

The RBTA was formed in April 1999 replacing the Chamber of Trade and is now an established consultative body and strong voice for local business and tourism in Richmond and nearby areas. We work to promote all aspects of business and tourism for our mutual benefit and the benefit of the community, at the same time boosting the area's profile and economy. The RBTA works closely with the Town Council, The Richmond Swale Valley Community Initiative and other bodies concerned with the development of Richmond. As a member of the RBTA, you are welcome to attend the Association's monthly open meetings, which are held on the first Wednesday of each month. During these meetings members have the opportunity to express their own ideas and opinions about relevant items on the agenda. Members may also have items placed on the agenda for discussion and/or action, and of course the right to vote whenever a vote is taken. The agenda and minutes of each meeting are sent to all members keeping everyone informed of any developments and decisions made.
